Hello, and thank you for visiting!
I’m an artist living in the beautiful Kent countryside, where I work from my home studio. I primarily paint in oils, often layered over acrylics, and sometimes incorporate mixed media. My inspiration comes from the landscapes and objects I love—especially the stunning coastlines and countryside that surround me.
Painting brings me immense joy and has taught me to see the natural world with fresh eyes. Like any creative pursuit, it’s a blend of challenge, experimentation, and satisfaction. I paint most days, and it always feels like a creative reset—an opportunity to explore colour, texture, and form in new ways.
My process involves building up layers with acrylics, then refining with oils to develop depth and texture. I aim to create work that invites personal interpretation, encouraging each viewer to find their own meaning. And, as you’ll see, I occasionally indulge in a vibrant floral piece just for the sheer joy of it!
One of the greatest rewards is seeing someone connect with a piece I’ve loved creating. I hope my art reflects the passion and energy I bring to every brushstroke.
I sell my work through private commissions, local exhibitions in Kent and Sussex galleries, and the annual Open Studios programme. Each piece is framed in a unique, handcrafted wooden frame made in my studio.
